PSAU, represented by the College of Pharmacy, organized “Sattam Research and Innovation Day” at the university’s main auditorium in Al-Kharj. The event was attended by PSAU President Prof. Abdullah Al-Tamimi, Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi, alongside faculty members, students, and individuals interested in research and innovation.
The event is part of PSAU’s ongoing efforts to empower student talent and cultivate an academically stimulating environment that strengthens research and creative skills—aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The program featured a series of academic sessions and specialized workshops, including “Pharmacist Career Pathway,” which explored diverse career tracks in the pharmacy profession, and “General Skills for the Future,” aimed at preparing students with essential future-ready skills for the job market.
In her address, Dean of the College of Pharmacy Dr. Manal Al-Osaimi praised the university’s strong support for student research and development, highlighting that such backing is a vital pillar in enabling national talent and encouraging them to produce impactful research that contributes to higher education outcomes.
The event also included multimedia presentations showcasing alumni success stories and notable research achievements. Winners of top research awards and outstanding contributors from various departments were recognized in an honoring ceremony for their scientific contributions.
Alongside the event, an exhibition was held in the university atrium, displaying student achievements and research projects. The day concluded with the closing ceremony of student activities, organized by the Student Council, which featured awards for winners of scientific poster competitions, academic high performers, and participants in various campus activities.
This event reflects PSAU’s commitment to advancing scientific research, promoting a culture of innovation, and creating a learning environment that prepares a new generation of researchers and innovators equipped to help shape the Kingdom’s future.
