Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the General Administration of Information Technology, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, Monday, with “Tools and Solutions” Group, aimed at strengthening cooperation in consulting services and exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest.
The signing ceremony was held at the University City in Al-Kharj. The MoU was signed on behalf of the University by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hamad bin Nasser Al-Turki, and on behalf of the Group by its Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah bin Sakit Al-Shammari.
The MoU covers a wide range of areas for consulting cooperation, including the provision of research and consulting services, technical expertise, and the development of operational and managed services. It also promotes cooperation in training, data, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and data protection and privacy.
The MoU also provides training opportunities for University students and graduates, specialized courses for University employees, and participation in conferences, exhibitions, and scientific and technical events. In addition, it includes the implementation of community and volunteer initiatives related to technology and artificial intelligence, as well as the exchange of best practices adopted by both parties.
The MoU reflects the University’s strategic commitment to supporting research, development, and innovation in service of both the public and private sectors. It aligns with the strategic objectives of higher education and enables the University to serve as a key contributor to keeping pace with the latest developments in research and innovation, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
