Student Joud Al-Muftah, from the College of Pharmacy at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, achieved a distinguished scientific achievement by winning third place at the Fifth Scientific Pharmaceutical Conference. Her research, titled "Prophylactic role of Indigofera oblongifolia extract on oxalate-mediated renal cell injury," excelled among 148 scientific submissions from various universities and academic institutions.
This achievement is an extension of the university's efforts to empower its students to achieve research and scientific excellence, and to consolidate its presence at the local, regional, and international levels. This achievement aligns with its goals of supporting research and innovation and achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
