Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the College of Medicine and supported by the Deanship of Student Affairs, participated in the WICO 2025 (World Invention Creativity Olympic), held in Seoul, South Korea. The event featured extensive international participation, with over 1,000 innovative projects from around the world.
Student Saleh Al-Kanaan represented the university at this international event with a distinguished innovative project in the medical field. The project achieved a qualitative accomplishment by receiving the Gold Medal, awarded to projects of high innovative value and significant societal impact, and the Special Award, awarded to projects that attract the attention of the evaluation committees for their creative, technical, or humanitarian level.
WICO is one of the most prominent international events in the field of innovation and creativity. It is held annually by the Korea University Invention Association and aims to encourage student creativity and support young talent in various scientific and technological fields.
