Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al‑Tamim, President of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University (PSBAU), the Department of Public Relations and Institutional Identity organized the Founding Day Exhibition, with the attendance of the University’s vice presidents, along with a number of faculty and staff members.
During his tour, His Excellency viewed the exhibition’s sections, which traced the stages of the Saudi state’s founding over three centuries and highlighted key historical developments that helped entrench security, stability, and state‑building. The exhibition also featured informational panels and visual and interactive content reflecting the Kingdom’s historical depth, in addition to displays of cultural heritage items and traditional attire that embody national identity.
The exhibition included a detailed presentation of the historical and informational guide to Saudi Founding Day, delivered by the Director of the Department of Public Relations and Institutional Identity. The presentation reviewed the historical foundations of the establishment of the First Saudi State in 1727, as well as the political and social pillars on which it was built. It also explained the visual identity elements of Founding Day and their cultural significance, and the meanings they convey—unity, stability, and pride in deep‑rooted heritage.
His Excellency the University President affirmed that Founding Day is an important national occasion through which the journey of nation‑building and empowerment is recalled, and from which the values of determination and ambition on which the Saudi state was founded are drawn. He underscored the University’s commitment to enhancing historical awareness among its students and staff and to instilling the values of belonging and loyalty.
The exhibition witnessed strong engagement from visitors, who expressed their pride in this national occasion and emphasized the importance of such events in highlighting the Kingdom’s civilizational depth and strengthening national identity within the university environment.
