The competition aims to encourage male and female students to memorize and properly recite the Holy Qur’an and to deepen their understanding of the Prophetic Sunnah, thereby promoting moderation and balance in thought and conduct and fostering a spirit of constructive competition among students.
This year’s edition witnessed broad participation, with 212 students advancing to the final stage. The competition included two tracks: the first focused on the memorization and tajweed of the Holy Qur’an across five categories, while the second focused on the memorization of the Prophetic Sunnah across three categories.
The closing ceremony featured a visual presentation highlighting the competition’s progress since its launch and showcasing the organizational efforts made by the committees to ensure accurate evaluation and fair judging in accordance with approved standards. This reflects the University’s commitment to student activities that contribute to developing balanced and well-rounded student personalities.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency the University President honored the first-place winners across the competition’s categories in recognition of their excellence and dedication. Commemorative photographs were also taken on this occasion.
