Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University University Council held yesterday its eighth session for the academic year 1447 AH, chaired by the University President, Professor Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, and attended by council members. The session discussed several agenda items related to academic and administrative operations, as well as the development of the university’s educational system.
During the session, the Council reviewed a number of reports and topics, and approved the appointment of several national PhD holders to the rank of Assistant Professor in order to strengthen the academic staff across various colleges.
The Council was also briefed on the decisions taken by the university under the authorities delegated to it, aimed at ensuring operational flexibility and accelerating work efficiency. In addition, several proposals and topics were discussed to support the achievement of the university’s strategic objectives, enhance the quality of educational outcomes, and further develop the academic environment. The Council also approved the awarding of master’s degrees to a number of university students and the reconstitution of several standing committees.
The convening of this session reflects the university’s commitment to reviewing its operational plans and ensuring the effectiveness of decisions that support the educational process and scientific research, in alignment with the strategic goals of higher education in the Kingdom.
