PSAU celebrated the graduation of its 16th cohort of students in a ceremony held this evening at the university stadium in Al-Kharj, under the gracious patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region. The event was attended by members of the royal family, senior officials, and academic leaders.
HRH Prince Faisal was received upon his arrival by HRH Prince Fahad bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, PSAU President Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, and a number of university leaders.
In his remarks, HRH Prince Faisal expressed his joy in sharing this proud moment with the graduates, noting that PSAU continues to make confident strides toward academic excellence, supported by the Kingdom’s wise leadership and the dedication of qualified national talents. “You are ambassadors of this university, which bears a name dear to all of us. The future rests on your shoulders to continue building and giving back to this great nation,” he said.
The ceremony opened with the national anthem followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Highlights of the event included the announcement of honors distinctions, graduation results for postgraduate, undergraduate, and diploma programs, and a patriotic operetta celebrating Saudi Arabia’s journey in education and development.
A graduating student delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of his peers, expressing deep appreciation for HRH Prince Faisal’s patronage and describing graduation as a milestone marking the transition from academic dedication to national contribution.
A video titled “Graduate Journey” was screened, capturing key moments from students’ academic paths and showcasing their achievements and campus activities.
In his speech, PSAU President Prof. Abdullah Al-Tamimi extended his highest thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz for their unwavering support of education and innovation in the Kingdom. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to preparing exceptional national talent capable of contributing to Vision 2030, supported by an integrated educational and research environment that fosters competitiveness and drives sustainable development.
The ceremony concluded with commemorative photos taken of university officials with HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.
