Students from Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University's Class of 2026 have commenced their intensive sustainability training at Imperial College London as part of the Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University–Imperial College London Program. The program is one of the University's flagship international initiatives, designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and global perspectives required to lead sustainable innovation.
Over the coming weeks, students will participate in an intensive training program delivered by leading experts from Imperial College London. The curriculum covers a range of advanced topics, including sustainability, design engineering, hands-on prototype development, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and academic English. Through a combination of world-class instruction and project-based experiential learning, the program prepares students for academic and professional success on the global stage while enabling them to tackle real-world challenges through multidisciplinary collaboration.
Working in multidisciplinary teams, participants will design, build, and develop innovative prototypes to address some of the world's most pressing sustainability challenges. Their solutions will align with the priorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030. The program will conclude with an innovation showcase, where student teams will present their commercially viable business concepts and prototype solutions to venture capital investors and industry experts, creating opportunities for future partnerships, investment, and real-world implementation.
