Today, Monday, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim, President of Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, inaugurated the Excellence and Innovation Award in its current cycle, in the presence of university vice presidents, college deans, and administrative leaders. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to leadership and enhancing performance quality across its academic and administrative ecosystem.
The award aims to recognize outstanding contributions by university staff and foster a spirit of positive competition among various sectors, thereby contributing to the improvement of institutional outcomes. The General Secretariat for Excellence and Innovation Awards has identified five main categories for competition:
- Excellence in Teaching Performance
- Research Excellence
- Excellence in Community Engagement
- Excellence in Quality and Accreditation Practices
- Administrative Excellence
The university clarified that the award is open to all categories and organizational units, including faculty members, employees, colleges, deanships, departments, and administrative units, ensuring comprehensive development and encouraging creativity across all aspects of university operations.
The launch of this award underscores the university’s pursuit of excellence and its position as a leading educational and research institution contributing to national development.
