Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the College of Computer Engineering and Sciences, concluded the “Career Empowerment Days” Forum, organized in collaboration with “Waslat Al Tamkeen,” as part of a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening cooperation between the academic and private sectors and preparing the University’s students and graduates to compete effectively in vital labor market sectors.
The forum witnessed broad and distinguished participation, with more than 40 leading companies and institutions from various sectors taking part. This strong engagement reflected the growing confidence in the national talents nurtured by Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. More than 3,400 job interviews were conducted throughout the forum, creating promising opportunities for employment and training for young talents.
The forum also delivered significant added value to more than 1,200 beneficiaries through a comprehensive range of specialized activities, including 15 workshops and panel discussions focused on enhancing professional skills in the fields of technology, healthcare, and business administration. In addition, 450 beneficiaries received specialized career guidance services to support them in shaping their career paths. The event was successfully managed through the dedicated efforts of more than 70 organizers from the University’s team.
The organizing committee expressed its pride in the strategic partnerships that contributed to the success of the forum and commended the sponsoring entities for their substantial support in making the event a success. The committee emphasized that this initiative reflects the University’s commitment to strengthening its partnerships with the business sector in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in developing human capital and supporting qualitative localization initiatives.
The forum successfully attracted a distinguished group of participating organizations, including CompTIA, Uptime Institute, Red Hat, and Foodics, among other prominent entities. Their participation added a highly professional and competitive dimension to the event and enhanced participants’ opportunities to gain insight into the future requirements of the labor market.
