Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University signed on Monday a Memorandum of Understanding with SAMI L3Harris Technologies, aimed at fostering collaboration in the localization of emerging technologies. The agreement was concluded on the sidelines of the third edition of the World Defense Show 2026, held in Riyadh under the theme “The Future of Defense Integration.”
The university was represented during the signing ceremony by Prof. Raed bin Abdullah Al‑Yousef, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, while the company was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Adrian Combs.
This memorandum builds upon the university’s active participation in the exhibition and aligns with its ongoing efforts to establish strategic partnerships with leading international and local institutions in the defense and security industries. The initiative supports the enhancement of research and innovation, the development of cooperation frameworks with the public and private sectors, and contributes to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by advancing a sustainable national economy founded on knowledge and innovation.
