Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Anwar Sports Club, aiming to strengthen joint cooperation in the fields of sports, science, and community engagement, thereby supporting developmental initiatives and achieving integration between academic and sports institutions.
The MoU was signed in the presence of representatives from both parties. Representing the university was Dr. Badr bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, Dean of the College of Business Administration in Hawtat Bani Tamim, while Al-Anwar Sports Club was represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Saad Al-Shathri.
The MoU aims to facilitate collaboration in several areas, including the development of sports activities, implementation of joint programs serving the community and social development, organization of sports and community events, as well as cooperation in training, development, and knowledge exchange.
The agreement also provides beneficiaries from both parties with access to facilities and resources available at each institution in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions, thereby supporting joint programs and expanding the utilization of human and material capabilities.
This MoU reflects the university’s commitment to building bridges of cooperation with various community institutions and activating strategic partnerships that contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, while enhancing the university’s role in serving the community and developing national capabilities across different fields.
The partnership is expected to contribute to launching joint initiatives and programs that promote the development of sports and community work, supporting both parties’ efforts to achieve institutional integration and leverage available expertise and resources.
