Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in Al Kharj has achieved an international academic achievement, adding to its distinguished record, by obtaining the "Triple Crown University" classification. This qualitative achievement comes after the university entered the QS World University Rankings for the year 2026, within the range (721-730) globally, ranking among the top (10) Saudi universities in this classification. The "Triple Crown" classification is awarded to universities included in the three most prominent and reliable international academic rankings, including the Times Higher Education (THE) and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), in addition to the QS classification.
The QS report demonstrated the university's excellence in a number of prominent indicators, ranking 109th globally and third among Saudi universities in the indicators of international faculty members, diversity of the academic staff, and the international research network. This reflects the university's growing influence on both the national and international levels.
In a related context, the university received support from the Research, Development, and Innovation Authority for seven research proposals under its 2024 initiatives, in the fields of basic sciences and applied and technical research. This reflects the university's commitment to strengthening the scientific research and innovation system and achieving the transition to an integrated knowledge economy in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University announced its ranking among the top 100 universities globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025. This ranking was achieved after achieving advanced positions in the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) related to quality education, and the fifth (SDG 5) related to gender equality, affirming its commitment to the values of sustainability and social responsibility.
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is one of the first Saudi universities to achieve these prestigious international rankings, reflecting its ongoing efforts to improve the quality of higher education, develop its academic programs, and strengthen the research and innovation system, contributing to supporting the national economy and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
