The President of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, patronized on Wednesday the graduation ceremony of the 17th cohort of students from the University’s colleges in Al-Aflaj Governorate for the academic year 1447 AH, across various academic disciplines. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Al-Aflaj, His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Alam, along with a number of governorate officials and the graduates’ families.
In his address during the ceremony, His Excellency the University President expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership—may Allah support it—for its continuous care and support of the education sector, and for its sustained commitment to advancing higher education and enhancing its national outcomes. He also congratulated the graduates on earning their academic degrees, wishing them continued success in their professional careers and urging them to contribute effectively to national development, in alignment with the objectives of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision.
A speech was delivered on behalf of the graduates, in which they expressed their pride and appreciation on this distinguished occasion, marking the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance. They commended the leadership’s unwavering support for the education sector—may Allah preserve it—and expressed their sincere gratitude to His Excellency the University President for his patronage of the ceremony and for sharing in their celebration. They also extended their appreciation to the University’s faculty members for their efforts in equipping them with knowledge and skills.
The ceremony featured a formal procession of graduates across various academic disciplines. Students who attained First and Second Class Honors were also recognized in acknowledgment of their academic excellence and outstanding achievement.
