His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al‑Tamim, President of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, participated on Wednesday in the 11th Consultative Meeting of University Presidents, hosted by Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Dammam. The meeting was chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Council of Universities Affairs, Mr. Yousef bin Abdullah Al‑Benyan, with the attendance of the Secretary‑General of the Council of Universities Affairs, Prof. Nasser bin Mohammed Al‑Oqeili, along with presidents of Saudi universities.
During the meeting, participants discussed several topics aimed at developing the university education system and strengthening governance practices in alignment with the Universities Law, in pursuit of achieving the Kingdom’s future vision for higher education. The meeting reflected the collective efforts and unified perspectives necessary to advance the educational system.
This consultative gathering is part of the regular meetings organized by the Council of Universities Affairs to review updates within the higher education sector and coordinate joint efforts among universities, ensuring enhanced operational efficiency and supporting institutional integration—fully aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
