The College of Pharmacy at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has obtained full renewal of its international academic accreditation for the Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences program from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), extending through 2032. This achievement follows the program’s fulfillment of all international standards for the quality of pharmacy education outcomes.
The accreditation was granted after a comprehensive on-site evaluation conducted in February 2026 by an international team of experts. During the visit, the team reviewed the college’s compliance with quality standards, examined the self-study report documentation, and assessed the academic and research materials related to the program’s accreditation to ensure alignment with international requirements.
The College has consistently worked to enhance its academic and institutional performance by establishing specialized working teams that have been dedicated over the past period to meeting the requirements for renewal. This reflects the competence of the academic and administrative staff responsible for the program in designing and implementing study plans aligned with the latest global standards in pharmacy education, ultimately leading to the successful renewal of accreditation.
This achievement aligns with the university’s strategic objectives aimed at ensuring the quality of educational outcomes and their compliance with national and international standards. It also contributes to preparing qualified pharmacy professionals who actively support the advancement of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
