His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, patronized on Wednesday evening the 17th graduation ceremony of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University students for the academic year 1447 AH. The ceremony, which celebrated graduates from various disciplines and academic levels, was held at the Sports Stadium in the University City in Al-Kharj.
Upon his arrival at the ceremony venue, His Royal Highness was received by His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Kharj, PSAU President Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, along with a number of university officials.
The ceremony commenced with the Royal Anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. His Royal Highness and the attendees then watched a visual presentation entitled “With Determination, We Reach the Summit,” which highlighted the university’s academic accreditations and awards, as well as the innovative and research achievements of its students. A patriotic operetta followed, after which postgraduate results and honor rankings were announced, in addition to the graduation results for bachelor’s and diploma students.
The graduates then delivered a speech expressing their profound gratitude for the patronage and presence of His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region at their graduation ceremony. They affirmed their pride in this achievement, which represents the culmination of their academic journey and their aspiration to contribute to serving their nation and leadership.
Following this, PSAU President Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi delivered a speech in which he extended the highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister—may God protect them—for their continued support of the education sector. He also expressed his sincere appreciation to His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region for graciously patronizing the ceremony.
Prof. Al-Tamimi stated that the University is celebrating the graduation of nearly 9,000 male and female graduates from its colleges and branches, all of whom completed their academic journey with dedication and perseverance, enabling them to contribute effectively to the nation’s development through active participation in the labor market.
The graduates’ procession then began in a majestic scene led by top achievers and honor graduates, creating a remarkable display of pride and accomplishment that reflected their aspirations to serve their religion, leadership, and homeland, amid the warm celebration of attendees and university officials.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region received a commemorative shield from PSAU President Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, and commemorative photographs were taken with His Royal Highness and the university’s leadership to mark the occasion.
