Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University recorded a remarkable presence on Tuesday at the “World Defense Show 2026,” held in Riyadh under the theme “The Future of Defense Integration” and organized by the General Authority for Military Industries. Through its dedicated pavilion, the university showcased a portfolio of applied research projects and distinguished technological innovations aimed at strengthening the Kingdom’s defense and security capabilities—developed by national talent shaping the future and academic expertise aligned with ongoing transformation.
The university’s pavilion (H3–F2) was visited by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Atheeb Group. He was received by Dr. Thamer bin Sulaiman Al‑Munaif, Director of the Research and Development Center, and Prof. Raed bin Abdullah Al‑Yousef, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. His Highness was briefed on the university’s leading innovative solutions supporting the security and defense sectors.
In a related context, His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al‑Tamim, President of the University, met with His Excellency the Chief of the General Staff, First Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al‑Ruwaili, during his visit to the university’s pavilion. His Excellency also welcomed Prof. Ahmed bin Salem Al‑Ameri, President of Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, who reviewed the university’s applied research outputs and emerging technologies tailored to meet the needs of the security and defense sectors.
His Excellency Dr. Faleh bin Abdullah Al‑Suliman, Governor of the General Authority for Defense Development, also visited the university’s pavilion, where he was introduced to the university’s advanced innovations, emerging technology systems, and defense‑oriented solutions developed to reinforce innovation and enhance integration with the national defense and security industries.
University specialists continued providing detailed briefings to local and international visitors and stakeholders on the university’s distinguished projects and innovations, highlighting the notable progress the university has achieved in technological and research development within this vital field.
