Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University Council held its ninth session for the 1447 AH academic year on Monday, chaired by the University President, Professor Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, and attended by council members. The session addressed a number of agenda items related to academic and administrative operations, as well as the ongoing development of the university’s educational system.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed a range of reports and proposals. It approved the appointment of several national faculty members to the rank of Assistant Professor, recognizing their academic qualifications and supporting the enhancement of the university’s academic workforce across various colleges.
The Council was also briefed on decisions taken by the university under delegated authorities to ensure operational flexibility and efficient implementation. In addition, members discussed several investment-related initiatives aimed at supporting institutional sustainability. The Council further reviewed amendments to certain regulations and policies intended to enhance the quality of educational outcomes and strengthen the academic environment.
The session reflects the university’s commitment to continuously reviewing its operational plans and ensuring the effectiveness of decisions that support education and scientific research, in alignment with the strategic objectives of higher education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
