Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei on Monday, aimed at fostering productive cooperation between the two parties, strengthening integration, developing national talent, and enhancing technical capabilities to support the University’s educational and training environment.
The signing ceremony took place during the fifth edition of LEAP 2026, the global technology conference held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center. The University was represented at the signing by Dr. Mashael Al-Baidhani, Dean of the Deanship of Educational Services, in the presence of a number of officials and Huawei executives.
The MoU focuses on developing human capital in modern technical skills and delivering specialized training programs tailored to the University’s needs in areas including cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and data communication networks. These initiatives aim to enhance the capabilities of national talent and align the University’s academic outcomes with future technological requirements.
This strategic partnership builds on the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration with leading global technology partners and support training and digital transformation initiatives. It also contributes to preparing highly qualified national talent capable of advancing the digital economy and creating future growth opportunities, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
