The PSAU Council held its first meeting of the 1448 AH academic year on Wednesday, chaired by University President Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim and attended by council members. The meeting addressed several items on the agenda related to academic and administrative operations and the development of the University’s education system.
The Council reviewed a number of reports and topics during the meeting and approved the appointment of a group of qualified Saudi nationals to the ranks of Assistant Professor and Lecturer, strengthening the academic and teaching staff across the University’s colleges.
The Council was also briefed on decisions approved under the authorities delegated to it to ensure flexibility in operations and timely completion of work. It also discussed investment opportunities intended to support sustainability and improve the quality of educational outcomes and the academic system.
The meeting reflects the University’s efforts to review its operational plans and ensure the effectiveness of decisions supporting education and research, in line with the strategic objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the aspirations of higher education.
