PPSAU President Prof. Abdullah Al-Tamim attended the annual “Celebration and Launch” ceremony organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs on Wednesday at the main auditorium of the university campus in Al-Kharj. The event was attended by the Vice President and a number of academic and administrative leaders.
The ceremony featured a video presentation titled “A Journey of Giving and a Harvest of Achievement,” highlighting the Deanship’s key activities, achievements, and successes over the past academic year.
In his remarks, Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Issa Al-Dosari reaffirmed the Deanship’s commitment to developing students’ academic character and skills through a range of guidance, awareness, and social programs. These efforts support academic integration with the colleges and contribute to students’ educational and skills development.
Dr. Al-Tamim also inaugurated the accompanying exhibition in the main lobby, which introduced the student services and activities provided by seven units affiliated with the Deanship. The exhibition featured academic, psychological, and social counseling services, as well as nutrition services, student services, services for students with disabilities, student and volunteer activities, and gifted student support. It also showcased scientific posters and research projects submitted by students participating in the Research Capacity Building Program, along with projects by gifted students in the “Apprenticeship” and “Summer Scientific Camp” programs.
The ceremony concluded with Dr. Al-Tamim honoring the winners of the University Excellence Awards for student activities and clubs, as well as a group of gifted male and female students who achieved notable international accomplishments representing the University. A commemorative photo was then taken with the honorees.
