The Council of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University held its fourth meeting of the academic year 1447 AH yesterday, chaired by His Excellency the University President, Professor Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, to discuss several items on the agenda related to academic and administrative operations.
The Council began its proceedings by discussing the mechanism for appointing faculty members to the rank of Assistant Professor who have completed the requirements for a doctoral degree, with the aim of strengthening specialized academic expertise within the university's colleges.
The Council also discussed a number of academic topics aimed at developing the educational and research environment. In the same context, the Council was briefed on some decisions made based on the delegation of its powers, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
This meeting reflects the university's commitment to reviewing operational plans and ensuring the effectiveness of decisions made to serve the educational and scientific research process, in line with the strategic objectives of higher education in the Kingdom.
