Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University Council convened its fifth session for the academic year 1447 AH on Sunday, chaired by His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamim, President of the University, with the participation of council members. The meeting addressed several agenda items related to academic and administrative operations and the development of the university’s educational system.
During the session, the council reviewed a series of reports and topics, including the approval of the university’s Annual Report for 2025, which highlighted key achievements and significant advancements across research, education, and community engagement. The council also approved the appointment of a number of faculty members to the rank of Assistant Professor, selecting highly qualified national talents holding doctoral degrees to strengthen the academic workforce across colleges.
Additionally, the council was briefed on decisions implemented under delegated authorities to ensure operational flexibility and efficiency. Several proposals and initiatives aimed at supporting the university’s strategic objectives were also discussed, focusing on improving educational outcomes and enhancing the academic environment.
The convening of this session reflects the university’s commitment to reviewing operational plans and ensuring the effectiveness of decisions that serve the educational process and scientific research, in alignment with the strategic goals of higher education in the Kingdom.
