More than 33,000 students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University—at its main campus in Al‑Kharj and its various branches—returned to their classrooms today (Sunday) as the second semester of the 1447 AH academic year commenced, amid an integrated system of academic and support preparations.
The University’s colleges across the provinces of Al‑Kharj, Al‑Dalm, Hotat Bani Tamim, Al‑Aflaj, Al‑Sulail, and Wadi ad‑Dawasir witnessed vibrant activity from the early morning hours, as they welcomed students with operational plans designed to create a motivating learning environment and ensure a smooth start to the semester. These efforts aim to help students pursue their academic goals efficiently and successfully from day one.
His Excellency the University President, Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al‑Taimi, welcomed the return of students, affirming the University’s commitment to providing a distinguished educational environment that prepares a generation capable of contributing effectively to serving the nation.
The University had completed the readiness of all its educational facilities, laboratories, and training centers, in addition to activating electronic services through the academic system portal to facilitate registration, add/drop procedures, and provide the necessary technical support—ensuring a serious and well‑organized start to the semester.
Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University continues its efforts to strengthen its academic and research ecosystem and enhance the quality of its educational outcomes by providing all necessary resources to support the development of young national talents. These efforts align with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to prepare highly qualified national competencies capable of meeting the evolving demands of the labor market.
