Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University received on Tuesday a delegation from the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Command and Staff of the Ministry of National Guard, with the aim of exploring avenues for mutual cooperation and exchanging academic and training expertise in ways that serve the educational process for both parties.
The visiting delegation held a meeting with several university leaders and officials, during which they reviewed areas of common interest and discussed opportunities to benefit from the educational and training experiences and capabilities available to both sides, in a manner that positively contributes to enhancing output quality and strengthening integration across government sectors.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed through a visual presentation introducing the university, which included general statistics about its structure, the colleges it encompasses, and its 57 academic departments and programs designed according to professional and applied standards. The presentation also highlighted the university’s achievements in institutional accreditation, performance efficiency, and its advanced rankings in global classifications, as well as obtaining the ISO certification for Business Continuity.
The presentation further showcased the university’s efforts to enhance teaching quality, the national and international accreditations earned by its programs from reputable bodies, and its contributions to community engagement — including the significant number of volunteer hours achieved. It also outlined the university’s strategic partnerships with prominent global organizations such as the United Nations and Times Higher Education, in addition to its scientific collaborations with leading international universities. The presentation concluded with an overview of the growth of the university’s research indicators, the quality of its publications in top-ranked journals, and its progress in advancing institutional leadership and establishing a distinct identity.
At the end of the visit, the delegation from the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Command and Staff expressed their appreciation to Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University for the warm reception, praising the academic accomplishments and substantial strides the university has made in research, innovation, and academic development. They also commended the university’s pioneering role in promoting knowledge integration among national institutions.
