His Excellency the President of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, patronized on Monday the graduation ceremony of the 17th cohort of students from the University’s colleges in Wadi Al-Dawasir and Al-Sulayyil for the academic year 1447 AH, across a range of academic disciplines. The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Wadi Al-Dawasir, Mr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Masoud, and the Governor of Al-Sulayyil, Mr. Thamer bin Abdullah Al-Shatwi, along with a number of University leaders and the families of the graduates.
In his address, the University President expressed his profound appreciation to the Kingdom’s wise leadership—may God protect them—for their continued support and commitment to advancing the higher education sector and strengthening its national outcomes. He congratulated the graduates on earning their academic degrees and attaining the honor of graduation, wishing them continued success in their professional journeys and encouraging them to contribute their knowledge and capabilities to the development and progress of the nation, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
A speech was delivered on behalf of the graduates, in which they expressed their pride and joy on this significant occasion marking the culmination of years of dedication and perseverance. They commended the generous support extended to the education sector by the wise leadership and expressed their sincere appreciation to the University President for his patronage of the ceremony and for sharing in their celebration. They also extended their gratitude to faculty members for their efforts in equipping them with knowledge and academic excellence.
The ceremony concluded with the graduates’ procession representing various academic disciplines, in an atmosphere filled with pride and celebration of this notable academic achievement.
