Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU), represented by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Accelerator, signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday with the Al-Kharj Chamber of Commerce to support and empower male and female entrepreneurs and innovative project owners and help transform promising ideas into scalable, sustainable ventures. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Entrepreneurship Forum 2026, held at Al-Qasr Conference Hall.
The agreement aims to identify innovative ideas and projects developed by PSAU students, graduates, and entrepreneurs in Al-Kharj and support their development. It also provides for the implementation of joint programs, including business incubators and accelerators, entrepreneurship boot camps, and specialized workshops, while leveraging the University’s academic and research expertise and aligning it with the needs of the business sector and the local market.
The cooperation also includes connecting entrepreneurs with investors, companies, and funding organizations; organizing regular meetings where innovative projects can be presented to the private sector; and launching innovation and development challenges and competitions to address the needs of Al-Kharj’s business community. These efforts are intended to support emerging technologies, encourage high-impact ventures with economic value, and promote the exchange of expertise and studies related to the region’s investment ecosystem.
The partnership reflects the commitment of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and the Al-Kharj Chamber of Commerce to strengthening the innovation ecosystem and fostering greater integration between the academic and business sectors, contributing to a sustainable knowledge-based economy aligned with the aspirations and objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
