Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University has recorded notable progress in the field of Open Educational Resources (OER) during 2025. The number of registered resources reached approximately 1,960, compared to 1,350 in the previous year — marking an increase of nearly 40%.
According to data from the Deanship of Educational Services, engagement with these resources also witnessed remarkable growth. The number of interactions in 2025 rose to around 9,820, compared to 5,452 last year — an 80% increase.
This growth reflects the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the digital learning environment and expand access to high-quality open educational content, supporting both students and faculty members. It also aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of education and leverage technology to advance the learning process.
