Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has achieved a remarkable achievement in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026, advancing more than 250 places, a clear indication of its efforts to strengthen its academic standing.
The announcement of these achievements came during the Global Education Summit hosted by King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The university achieved a move from the 601/800 category to the 401/500 category, a move that embodies the level of academic excellence the university is pursuing.
This remarkable progress is attributed to the university's strategic investments in attracting distinguished academics, primarily independent researchers and independent athletes at the research and academic university.
On the local level, the university has consolidated its position among Saudi universities, an achievement that highlights its role as an educational and research institution in the Kingdom.
We then pledged to advance high-quality education and support unique scientific research, including keeping pace with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which seeks to develop the higher education sector and its diverse needs.
